Laugh, breathe, and lift your spirits! Laughter Yoga combines simple movement, deep breathing and playful laughter exercises to generate health-promoting, mood-lifting laughter — all without the use of comedy or humor.
Despite it's name, Laughter Yoga does not involve yoga postures. However, it does make use of yogic breathing techniques — to warm up the lungs, to deepen the benefits of laughter and to provide brief respites from laughing.
The combination of deep breathing + playful laughter exercises + eye contact with fellow participants leaves you feeling joyful and connected.
